Drafts and rejected ideas for the contents page and main cover

Here is the first idea for my spice of life magazine . I didn't like the idea as the fonts didn't match to the target audience. I also felt like the font for the masthead would be overwhelming for the readers. I also thought that the layout was unoriginal and unappealing for the audience. The topics presented in the magazine was unrealistic for photo opportunities for main or contents images .

 

Current idea which I am sticking with. I have  decided to stick with this layout because it is more complex more information can be stored  without looking put together. The main image will look more clear and the layout will make the text look more recognizable    

 The Draft of the contents pages will show you a variety of concepts and design and organizations. The top contents page I have stuck with because i can make the images larger if necessary. I can also change the font and enlarged it with ruining the Images.

The rejected idea I have chosen has to much white space . Any promotional material wouldn't look appealing on the side of the page and enlarging the image could ruin the  bottom of the text.
